Unknown Speaker 13:01
No in the forest.
Unknown Speaker 13:03
And then if I say don't go in the forest, it's too scary. You say we're not afraid? We're not afraid. Alright friends, here we go. Once upon a time, there was a grouchy monster who lived in the forest behind a big old tree. And every time someone came walking down the pathway and walk past the tree, the monster would jump out and growl or he would stop his feet. And he would shake the branches of the tree. Every one who lived in the village was afraid to go into the forest. Except for these friends. All my friends listening right now. They were not afraid. So they got their picnic basket. And they said we're going to have a picnic in the forest. So they got their basket and they went to the bakery. And they were buying some bread. And the baker said, Are you going to have a picnic at the park today?
Unknown Speaker 14:02
No in the forest.
Unknown Speaker 14:04
Don't go in the forest. It's too scary. We're not afraid. So they got their basket and their bread and they went to the grocery store. They were going up and down the aisles of the store picking out all kinds of yummy delicious food that makes your body go big and strong. So my friends, what kind of food do you want to put in the picnic basket? How about some apples? Oh, let's put some apples in the basket. What else? Mac and cheese? Cookies. Oh no cookies. That doesn't make you feel big and strong. We'll have a few cookies for dessert. Okay. All right. We'll take some water and some watermelon and some tuna salad and some bread and some cheese cheese, some oranges, some grapes. What else can you think of friends you tell us right now? Oh, those are good ideas. We'll put all that Add food in the basket. So they got their basket and they were buying their food. And the grocer said, Are you going to have a picnic at the beach today?
Unknown Speaker 15:09
No, in the forest,
Unknown Speaker 15:11
don't go in the forest. There's a grouchy monster there.
Unknown Speaker 15:14
We're not afraid.
Unknown Speaker 15:15
So they got their basket, and they went to the forest. And they were going down the pathway. They came by the big old tree out jumped the monster and he growled. And he shut the branches of the trees. He stopped his feet. But the friends were not afraid. So he did it even louder. And then they said, monster, don't you have any friends? And the Monster said, No. And all I have to eat are yucky bugs. So they said, Why don't you have a picnic with us? And he said, Okay, so they got out their picnic basket. They got apples and a mac and cheese and the grapes and the oranges, the bread and pizza and sandwiches, cheese and the cookies. Don't forget the cookie. Oh, and they had the cookies for dessert and they ate up all the food. Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum. And then all of a sudden, the monster got a big smile on his face. Everyone said yay. And after that, the monster had a nice full tummy of yummy, delicious food. He turned into a friendly monster. And then no one was afraid to go in the forest ever again. And that's the end of the story. Whoo. Good job, friends. All right, we have one more song to finish up our music time today. This song is called Let me see the colors. Let me see all the colors you're wearing. Let me see all the colors you have. When I say the color you're wearing. Please stand up and clap your hands. Clap if you have blue. Clap if you have pink, green, red, orange, clap yellow, purple, white and black. All my friends stand up and clap, clap, clap. Let me see all the colors you're wearing. Let me see all the colors you have. When I say the colors you're wearing. Please stand up and clap your hands. Clap if you have blue.
