Meet Nick Young, also known as Nick The Music Man!
Bringing music into the lives of over a thousand children every week at more than 60 different schools in the U.S!
Nick Young has been sharing the gift and joy of interactive music and movement with children for 30+ years. After working as a pre-school music teacher, Nick witnessed interactive music's social, emotional, and educational benefits in early childhood. Nick ventured out to create The Young Music Company, a mobile music school and event company that brings music into the lives of thousands of children every year.
Nick has presented his highly engaging music and movement workshops at hundreds of conferences, conventions, and institutions all over Southern California and the U.S including the National Association for the Education of Young Children, National Head Start Association, Los Angeles County Office of Education, Best Arts Conference, Children’s Home Society, El Camino College and so many others. In 2016, Nick created the PlayMotion Music, his music and movement curriculum-based program for teachers and parents who looking to enrich their child’s learning through movement and music at home or in classrooms.
Nick also educates teachers on bringing music into their classrooms with ease through his program and curriculum. Together, alongside his wife Jen Stillion they have been able to reach thousands of viewers and listeners on their social media accounts and their top-ranking podcast: the Preschool Music & Story Time Podcast!

Interactive Music & Movement
Our early childhood music training workshop introduces teachers and parents to the power of play centered music and movement for children. The teachers get hands-on training with methods and materials and learn how to implement the PlayMotion Music System with their students. This is a fun, interactive experience that takes the teachers step-by-step through the activities giving them tools and curriculum that they will be able to use in their schools and classrooms.
